Thanks to Lynette for helping me with this blog space!
For those of you who are wondering how I'm doing - I'm mostly fine. It's just when I talk that I sound bad. Apparently, the tube they inserted down my throat during the surgery irritated my vocal cords which has set up a nasty cycle of coughing and further irritation which causes more coughing... I just got on some medications today that we hope will clear up the whole thing. The good news is that I don't spend a lot of time thinking about my shoulder - I just keep the ice on it and let it do it's healing
In the mean time I am learning about blogging and, of course, more about photography with on-line courses.
This week sure has brought a lot of changes to our family. Let me say, I have never been more proud of the kids, or felt more honored to be a part of us. Here is a quote by Elder Maxwell that Lynette shared with me:"As you and I look at our lives... we sometimes do not understand that through which we are passing but, being submissive, we can trust Him.... The day will come...when the tapestry of our life will be unfolded, and you will see divine design all through it and praise God for the experience and the tutoring which in His goodness He has given you.”
I know that I usually wish that I could get my learning experiences in writing, but I'm so glad to be in a church that supports this kind of faith and confidence in a loving Heavenly Father. We will be able to see the eternal plan in the things that are unfolding, I don't know when, but I'm absolutely sure that we will.
We are looking forward to being at Trina & Mikes for Conference weekend. Of course I am hoping to meet the newest member of our family then!
